Whitefish, MT

Last month our good friends the Bevans invited us up to Whitefish, Montana for a few days. We could never turn down a trip with great friends, yummy food, lots of time outdoors and sunshine! Needless to say, we were so excited. Plus, it was the first time to Montana for both David and me.

It was quite the drive (10.5 hours) but well worth it for this view:

And yes, those are the ski runs! Isn't it so pretty? In the winter, this place is a big ski destination and then a huge lake/boating destination in the summer- the best of both worlds!

We went to the local gym two of the days before we hit up the lake. My friend Carly is super healthy and always trying to work out, so we all had a great time getting good workouts in (I was sore for days) and making healthy meals (with lots of vacation treats/junk in between). I found Ryan and David playing raquetball:

We spent a ton of time on the boat laying out, reading, taking turns wake boarding and skiing, and looking at all the scenic homes (apparently the CEO of Google has a house here). Boat rides are one of my favorite things in the whole world!

David's getting pretty good on the wake board!

It was seriously stunning in Whitefish! David and I decided we would love to live here, if only it weren't so far from our family, friends, and everything. So, instead we hope to visit again someday.

Thanks to the Bevans for such a fun trip! We loved it!
