One Month

Today, we have officially been married one month! We are loving our new life here in Provo and have had such a fun and busy summer so far. Our wedding was amazing and we feel so blessed by everyone! Here are some pictures to summarize the last month:

My bridal shower was so fun and it was great to celebrate with some of my best friends and family!

My beautiful mother-in-law and me. I couldn't be happier to be a part of the Drake family!

The night before the wedding, we had a family dinner downtown. It was at Jack Stack Barbeque and we were glad to get some famous Kansas City barbeque while we were home. We also had such a blast with all our family!

My dad did such an amazing job with our pictures and somedays I find myself looking through every single one of our wedding photos and wishing we could relive it! Here is one of our bridals that we took earlier in the week of our wedding.

The Kansas City Temple was dedicated in May, so we were one of the first weddings there. It is stunning and we just love our temple!

We had so much love and support. It was amazing how many of our family members and friends were able to make it. Thank you to everyone who came!

My cute bridesmaids. I love you girls!

The reception was absolutely incredible! My mom's friend, Michelle Moore set up and decorated everything. She is amazing and it was far more than we could have ever imagined.

We then spent our honeymoon in Colorado, which was so fun and relaxing! Here we are in Vail:

We took a 30 mile bike ride from Keystone to Breckenridge (a much needed workout after the italian food, wedding cakes and gelato at our reception). We walked and shopped around Breck, and ate a baguette and cheese for lunch as we enjoyed the beautiful weather there.

Eating out in Breckenridge!

We even duckied the Arkansas River down Brown's Canyon, even though there was hardly any water! David claimed that it couldn't be considered a rafting trip unless we swam. The result was flipping once and dump trucking once. Rafting trip = success!

After an incredible week in Colorado, we drove back to provo to move into our new apartment. We are living at Wymount Terrace, which is tiny but cute. We love it, despite our lack of air conditioning. Here is the first stage of moving in:

Here is the finished product! We love our tiny home.

We just love our little life and cannot wait for the rest of eternity together. Here's to a great forever!
